Beijing Opera Masks and Their Attributes
Inspired by the visual language of Beijing Opera (京剧), this collection explores masks as carriers of identity, morality, and narrative power. Traditionally used in performance, each mask encodes symbolic meanings through color, form, and expression, representing qualities such as bravery (勇敢), integrity (正直), wisdom (智慧), and authority (权力).
The artworks bring these symbols into digital space while honoring their cultural significance, transforming them into contemporary extensions of a living tradition.
Each NFT pairs a mask with its corresponding attribute, creating a dialogue between character and essence, performance and identity, tradition and digital permanence.
